Frequently asked questions
Helpful answers to common questions about pdfFileUtility.

Choose Unlock PDF and select the file. Enter the password you already have. Your browser opens the document and creates an unlocked, image-based PDF locally. This preserves the page appearance, but text in the output will not be selectable or searchable.
Compression recreates PDF pages as optimized images in your browser. It can reduce file size, but it may lower image quality and the resulting text may not be selectable. Keep your original if you need searchable text.
Images to PDF supports common JPG, PNG, and WebP files supported by your browser.
